XJBC (eXtensible Java ByteCode) is an XML-based assembly language for the Java Virtual Machine. It was specifically designed to enable automated processing of Java bytecode in the large. It includes an XML-schema, an assembler to transform XJBC to Java bytecode, and a disassembler to transform Java bytecode to XJBC. The tools of XJBC are 100% pure Java and run on Java platforms since JDK 1.1 or later. XJBC was originally developed by Claus Engel and given to the open-source community. It is hosted by tangentum technologies. XJBC is open source and published under the GPL (General Public License) in the hope to find many adopters. You may define your own tools and applications based on XJBC, as long as they are open source also. You may acquire a commercial version, if you are interested in using XJBC in your commercial software. Please contact us to define the corresponding license. The open-source version is provided on an AS-IS basis. If you have acquired a commercial version, customer support is available to you. |
