XJBC is an XML-based assembly language for the Java Virtual Machine. There are other good and well-known assembly languages available for the Java VM. These are not based on XML, but have advantages of their own. The following list of assemblers may not be exhaustive, but the most important will be shown. Jasmin is a Java Assembler Interface. It takes ASCII descriptions for Java classes, written in a simple assembler-like syntax and using the Java Virtual Machine instruction set. It converts them into binary Java class files suitable for loading into a JVM implementation. Java BA. The Java Bytecode Assembler is a program that converts code written in "Java Assembly Language" into a valid Java .class file. |
