ByteCode Query-Language

The ByteCode Query-Language is an XML-based "little language" which enables queries of Java bytecode.

BCQL is an integral part of the -framework. It is used as a configuration-tool of our CodeMonitor product.

It consists of a schema, which describes the syntax of valid BCQL-selection statements (a combination of special XML-elements and XML-attributes). The integration of tasks, to accomplish transformations of the selected constructs are described in a special document with all valid selection-predicates.
