Claus Engel, 36, is the driving force behind tangentum technologies. He developed the vision, the strategy, the architecture, and the software.
For nearly twenty years now, he strives to make his dream of "software automation" come true. Disappointed by the way how software is thought at university and in industry, he developed his own concepts based on the dynamics of existence: "tangentum".
Having worked in industry as a developer and consultant on different projects with various technologies for many years now, he sees the importance of elegant and flexible strategies and architectures to achieve the most benefits for customers in the long run.
For years Claus has therefore been looking for ways to implement his concepts in software. With the development of the XML-based assembly language XJBC he finally created a practical open-ended platform for software automation. Because its time has come, Claus is convinced of the overwhelming value customers will gain from the concept championed by tangentum technologies: "programming in XML".
Claus is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society. He holds a diploma in "Informatik" (a correspondence to a M.S. in Computer Science) from the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) in Germany.
